- 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
- Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness of about 1/2 inch.
- In one bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. In another bowl, drizzle olive oil over chicken.
- Coat each chicken breast in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place coated chicken in the air fryer basket and cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Top cooked chicken with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese; return to the air fryer for another 3-5 minutes until melted.
- Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
