Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup shredded pepper jack cheese
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 2 jalapeños, finely chopped (seeds removed for milder flavor)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup crushed Ritz crackers or panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tbsp chopped chives

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, pepper jack cheese, sour cream, chopped jalapeños, garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  2. Form the mixture into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. In another bowl, combine crushed crackers with fresh herbs. Roll each cheese ball in the crumb mixture until fully coated.
  4. Refrigerate the coated balls for at least 30 minutes to help them firm up.
  5. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange the chilled balls on a baking sheet and bake for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
