  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 white onion, diced
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • American cheese (optional)
  • Slider buns

Instructions

  1. Prepare the patties by seasoning the ground chuck with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, then refrigerate.
  2. In a skillet, cook diced onion until softened. Add minced garlic and sauté briefly before incorporating cooked bacon and remaining ingredients for the jam. Simmer until thickened.
  3. Cook the seasoned beef patties on medium heat for about 4-6 minutes on each side; add cheese during the last few minutes to melt.
  4. Toast slider buns until golden brown.
  5. Assemble by placing a patty on each bun and topping with bacon jam.
