  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons bourbon-flavored syrup or extract (as a substitute)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 8 ounces dark chocolate (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and baking powder.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together butter, beef fat, sugars, bourbon syrup, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time.
  4. Gradually mix in dry ingredients until just combined. Fold in chopped dark chocolate.
  5. Drop tablespoonfuls of dough onto parchment-lined baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
