  • 4 chicken breasts (57 oz each)
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella (sliced)
  • 2 vine-ripened tomatoes (sliced)
  • Fresh basil (to taste)
  • Aged balsamic vinegar or glaze (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or grill pan over high heat.
  2. Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness of about 1 inch.
  3. In a bowl, mix Italian seasoning, sea salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  4. Brush olive oil on both sides of the chicken and season generously with the spice mixture.
  5. Grill chicken for about 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
