  • 8 oz cooked turkey bacon (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 16 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • 1 1/4 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (divided)
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (divided)
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp Ranch seasoning (to taste)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 1/4 tsp poppy seeds (divided)

Instructions

  1. Cook the turkey bacon until crispy; set aside some for topping.
  2. In a bowl, combine the remaining turkey bacon with sour cream, cream cheese, Mexican cheese blend, most cheddar cheese, green onions, walnuts, Ranch seasoning, garlic powder, black pepper, and poppy seeds; mix well.
  3. In another bowl, prepare the topping by finely chopping reserved turkey bacon and mixing it with cheddar cheese, green onions, walnuts, and extra poppy seeds.
  4. Shape the cheese mixture into a ball and roll it in the topping mixture until fully coated. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
