  • 1/2 cup Dutch Process Baking Cocoa

  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar (plus additional for coating of cookies)
  • 1/2 cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 2 tbsp Milk (1%, 2%, or Fat-free)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 10 oz bag of Hershey Caramel Kisses
  • Sea Salt Flakes (optional)
  • Salted Caramel Sugar (optional)
  • Dark Cocoa Sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and cocoa.
  2. Cream the butter with granulated and brown sugars until fluffy.
  3. Mix in the egg, milk, and vanilla until well combined.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture until blended.
  5. Chill dough for at least an hour.
  6. Preheat oven to 375°F and prepare baking sheets with parchment paper.
  7. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and coat in sugar; place on sheets.
  8. Bake for 6-8 minutes; press a caramel kiss onto each cookie while warm.
