  • 1/2 green bell pepper, finely diced (about 1/3 cup)
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 3 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Cook the elbow macaroni in salted boiling water until al dente (7–8 minutes). Drain and rinse under cool water.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, black pepper, sugar, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.
  3. Add the cooled macaroni along with the diced onions, celery, and bell pepper to the dressing. Gently toss until well coated.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least two hours to allow flavors to meld.
