  • ½ cup warm water (110°F)
  • 2 Tbsp yeast (quick rise or instant dry yeast)
  • 6 Tbsp unsalted butter (softened)
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup warm milk (110°F)
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 5 to cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp melted butter (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water and set aside.
  2. Cream softened butter and sugar until fluffy; add eggs one at a time.
  3. Mix in warm milk, salt, and yeast mixture until combined.
  4. Gradually add flour until dough forms; knead for about 5 minutes until soft.
  5. Allow dough to rise in a greased bowl until doubled in size (30-45 minutes).
  6. Roll out the dough into circles, cut into wedges, then roll into crescents.
  7. Let shaped rolls rise again on a greased pan until doubled (another 30-45 minutes).
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Brush with melted butter immediately after baking.
