- 2 Tbsp yeast (quick rise or instant dry yeast)
- 6 Tbsp unsalted butter (softened)
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup warm milk (110°F)
- 2 tsp salt
- 5 to 5½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 Tbsp melted butter (for brushing)
- Dissolve yeast in warm water and set aside.
- Cream softened butter and sugar until fluffy; add eggs one at a time.
- Mix in warm milk, salt, and yeast mixture until combined.
- Gradually add flour until dough forms; knead for about 5 minutes until soft.
- Allow dough to rise in a greased bowl until doubled in size (30-45 minutes).
- Roll out the dough into circles, cut into wedges, then roll into crescents.
- Let shaped rolls rise again on a greased pan until doubled (another 30-45 minutes).
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Brush with melted butter immediately after baking.
