- 2 tbsp cornflour (cornstarch)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 110 g honey
- 80 ml chicken stock
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for cooking
- Coat chicken thighs with cornflour, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large frying pan over high heat. Add the coated chicken and cook until golden brown on one side (4-5 minutes).
- Flip the chicken and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Add unsalted butter and minced garlic to the pan; reduce heat to medium until fragrant.
- In a separate bowl, mix honey, chicken stock, rice vinegar, and soy sauce; pour into the pan with the chicken.
