  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup apple vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 2 bay leaves

  2. In the same pot, add chopped onions and carrots; sauté until softened.
