  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (for topping)
  • 2 Tbsp butter (for glaze)
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract (for glaze)
  • 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 11×7 inch pan with foil or cooking spray.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Cream butter with granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs and vanilla until combined.
  5. Fold in chopped apples gently.
  6. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. While baking, melt topping ingredients together and spread over warm blondies once baked.
  8. For the glaze, melt butter and mix in maple syrup, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon; drizzle over cooled blondies.
