Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, water, milk, butter, and eggs until smooth.
  2. Pour batter into greased cake pans and bake for about 20 minutes or until golden and springy.
  3. For the filling, heat milk, sugar, flour, eggs, and butter in a pot over medium heat until thickened.
  4. Once the cake layers cool, spread the creamy filling between them and stack carefully.
  5. Dust icing sugar on top before serving.
