  • 1 pound uncooked spaghetti
  • 1 pound ground turkey or chicken
  • 1/2 medium onion (chopped)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 (24 ounce) jars marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 8 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, ricotta, mozzarella, garlic powder, and oregano until smooth.
  3. Cook spaghetti in salted water until al dente; drain and return to pot.
  4. In a skillet over medium heat, brown ground turkey with chopped onions for about 10 minutes; add minced garlic and optional red pepper flakes.
  5. Combine sausage mixture with spaghetti and marinara sauce; mix well.
  6. Layer half of the pasta mixture in a greased baking dish, spread cheese filling on top, then finish with remaining pasta mixture.
  7. Top with additional mozzarella cheese and cover with foil. Bake for 30 minutes; uncover and broil until bubbly.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
