  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground cardamom
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar for rolling
