  • 4 salmon filets (6 oz each)
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 tsp water
  • 2/3 cup orange juice
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp minced ginger
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sauce by mixing cornstarch with water until smooth. Combine with other sauce ingredients in a saucepan and simmer until slightly thickened.
  2. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  3. Line a baking sheet with oiled foil and place the salmon filets on it. Baste generously with half of the sauce.
  4. Bake for about 14 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Broil for an additional minute after basting again with the remaining sauce.
