Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp black cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (plus more if needed)
  • 2 tsp instant dry yeast
  • 1 tsp fine salt
  • 1 cup whole milk (lukewarm)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup crushed Oreos

Instructions

  1. Warm the milk until lukewarm, mix with granulated sugar and yeast. Let sit for about 5 minutes until bubbly.
  2. Add the egg, softened butter, and salt. Gradually stir in flour until a dough forms. Knead on a floured surface until smooth.
  3. Place in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise in a warm spot for about an hour.
  4. While rising, mix brown sugar, cocoa powder, cinnamon, and crushed Oreos for the filling.
  5. Roll out dough into a rectangle, spread with softened butter, and sprinkle with filling mixture. Roll tightly into a log shape.
  6. Cut into equal pieces and place cut-side up in a greased baking dish. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for about 26 minutes until golden brown.
  8. While cooling slightly, mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
