  • ½ cup dark chocolate chips (60% cocoa content)
  • ½ cup pistachio paste
  • 3 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream (or coconut cream)
  • 1 can croissant dough (about 8 oz)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Optional: melted dark chocolate and chopped roasted pistachios for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt dark chocolate in intervals of 20 seconds until smooth. Allow to cool slightly.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together pistachio paste, powdered sugar, and heavy cream until smooth.
  4. Unroll the croissant dough and cut into triangles or rectangles if desired.
  5. Spoon half a tablespoon of pistachio crème on one side and half a tablespoon of melted chocolate on the opposite side of each triangle.
  6. Fold the dough over the filling and seal edges firmly using your fingers or a fork.
  7. Brush tops with beaten egg for a shiny finish.
  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool before serving.
