  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 8 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives (chopped)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: 1 cup shredded mozzarella or parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, chives, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
  3. Cut the bread diagonally in a crosshatch pattern without slicing all the way through.
