  • 1 cup beef broth (divided)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 lb refrigerated pizza dough
  • Coarse salt (for sprinkling)
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Sear the brisket in olive oil over medium heat, seasoning with smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Add beef broth and cover; simmer for 3-4 hours until tender.
  3. Mix cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, remaining beef broth, sour cream, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce for the filling.
  4. Shred the cooked brisket and combine it with the cheese mixture.
  5. Roll out pizza dough into circles; fill with brisket mixture and seal tightly.
  6. Brush with beaten egg, sprinkle coarse salt on top, and bake at oven temperature as per pizza dough instructions until golden brown (about 20 minutes).
