  • 1/3 cup rice flour
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1.5 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice apple vinegar
  • Fresh ginger, finely minced
  • Fresh garlic, finely minced
  • Honey or maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Cut cauliflower into bite-sized florets.
  2. In a bowl, combine rice flour, cornstarch, oil, garlic powder (if using), and water; mix until smooth.
  3. Coat cauliflower florets in the mixture and spread evenly on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake for about 30 minutes until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  5. While baking, prepare the sauce by combining sesame oil, soy sauce, rice apple vinegar, Sriracha, ginger, garlic, honey/maple syrup, cornstarch, and water in a saucepan over medium heat until thickened.
  6. Toss baked cauliflower in the sticky sauce while warm and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced spring onions.
