  • 1 pound skirt steak, thinly sliced
  • 3 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • ⅓ cup water
  • ⅓ cup soy sauce (low-sodium recommended)
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar (or mirin)
  • 1 teaspoon grated garlic
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Toss broccoli florets in canola oil until evenly coated.
  3. Air fry skirt steak strips in a single layer for 8–10 minutes until cooked through.
  4. Remove the steak and add broccoli to the same basket; air fry for an additional 6–8 minutes until tender yet crisp.
  5. In a microwave-safe mixing bowl, combine water, soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Whisk until smooth.
  6. Microwave in intervals of one minute until thickened; whisking in between.
  7. Pour the sauce over the beef and broccoli; toss gently to coat.
