  • 1 cup cold butter (cubed)
  • ½ cup grated apple
  • 1 cup chilled buttermilk
  • Honey Butter Glaze: 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted) and 3 tablespoons honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, salt, and spices until well combined.
  3. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Fold in the grated apple gently.
  5. Add the chilled buttermilk gradually while stirring until just combined.
  6. Turn dough onto a floured surface and pat it to about ¾ inch thick. Cut out biscuits using a round cutter.
