  • 34 drops red and blue food coloring
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, cubed or pearls
  • 3/4 cup turkey pepperoni, quartered
  • 1/2 cup chopped black olives
  • 1 (16-ounce) bottle Italian dressing

Instructions

  1. Cook the rotini pasta according to package instructions until al dente (about 8 minutes). Drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. In two separate bowls, mix red and blue food coloring with water. Divide the pasta into two portions and coat each half with the respective colors. Set aside to dry slightly.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled colored pasta, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, turkey pepperoni, and black olives.
