  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 2 tablespoons apple vinegar (or dry apple juice)
  • 1 head broccoli (cut into bite-size florets)
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 2 teaspoons ginger (minced)
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Slice the flank steak against the grain into thin strips and marinate with soy sauce, peanut oil, and cornstarch. Let it sit for about 10 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together chicken stock, apple vinegar, dark soy sauce, and brown sugar for the sauce.
