Ingredients
Scale
1 lb wild-caught shrimp, peeled and deveined
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon lime zest
2 tablespoons lime juice
2 tablespoons honey
½ bunch cilantro, chopped
3 cups green cabbage, finely shredded
½ cup Greek yogurt or dairy-free alternative
Avocado slices to taste
8 tortillas (corn or flour)
Instructions
In a bowl, mix salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, chili powder, olive oil, honey, lime juice, and half the cilantro. Add shrimp and marinate for at least 10 minutes.
For the creamy slaw: Combine cabbage, remaining cilantro, Greek yogurt, lime juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix well.
Heat butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté marinated shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side until cooked through.
Warm tortillas in another skillet for about 30 seconds on each side.
Assemble tacos by layering slaw and shrimp on tortillas; top with avocado slices and extra lime juice.
