  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 200g mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 150g fresh spinach
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 100g grated cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté onions and garlic in olive oil until translucent.
  3. Add mushrooms; cook until softened. Stir in spinach until wilted, then season with salt and pepper.
  4. Remove from heat; let cool slightly before folding in grated cheese and cream cheese.
  5. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface; cut into squares.
  6. Place a teaspoon of filling in the center of each square; fold and seal edges.
  7. Brush each pastry with egg wash and arrange them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
