  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha
  • 1 1/4 pounds fresh green beans (washed and trimmed)
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dipping sauce by mixing mayonnaise, sriracha, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt in a bowl until smooth. Refrigerate.
  2. Coat the green beans in half a cup of flour.
  3. In another bowl, mix the remaining flour with cumin, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Gradually add beef broth until you achieve a thick batter.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a large pot to 375°F (190°C). Dip floured green beans into the batter and fry in small batches for about 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
  5. Serve warm with the chilled sriracha mayo.
