  • 2 cups Panko bread crumbs
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika or chili powder
  • 23 large eggs
  • Cooking spray (olive oil or canola)
  • Garnishes: fresh oregano leaves and grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Set Up Your Breading Station: In three separate bowls, whisk eggs in one, mix flour with garlic powder and paprika in another, and place Panko crumbs in the third.
  2. Prep the Olives: Drain olives and coat each in the flour mixture, shaking off excess.
  3. Egg Dip: Dip floured olives into the egg mixture until fully coated.
  4. Panko Coating: Roll each egg-coated olive in Panko crumbs until evenly covered.
  5. Air Frying: Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Arrange olives in a single layer in the basket. Spray lightly with cooking spray and cook for 5 minutes. Flip olives, spray again, and cook for an additional 3 minutes or until golden brown.
