  • 8 tablespoons butter (room temperature)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 large onions (thinly sliced)
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon Korean chili flakes
  • ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Prepare chimichurri sauce by blending parsley, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, garlic cloves, salt, and pepper.
  2. Caramelize onions in a skillet with butter until golden brown, adding balsamic vinegar and brown sugar toward the end.
  3. Mix softened butter with minced garlic and chopped parsley for garlic butter.
  4. Grill filet mignon steaks to desired doneness; let rest before slicing against the grain into thin strips.
  5. Toast baguette slices brushed with olive oil in the oven until golden brown.
