  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice apple vinegar (or dry apple juice)
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp white pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ¾ cup cornstarch (for coating)
  • Oil for frying
